Today’ ‘Featured’ looks back at Diggers refurbishment at Club Mulwala.

Red Design Group worked with management at the time to develop a full concept leaning on the history of the venue with reference back to the old Mulwala and District Services Club connections with the RSL though large format artwork  throughout the space.

The project was a great collaboration, with the entire construction & fit-out by Jack Riches and his team supported by local trade, the project was really built by the local community.

Our typical approach for projects like this is to leverage our skill sets across both Adobe creative suite and Autodesk Revit to help guide the clients through the design process. Having the ability to demonstrate the intent in 3D allows clients to better understand and facilitates more interaction and involvement during the design stages.

The total project encompassed the full refurbishment of the restaurant including a top of the line full commercial kitchen and concepts for future stages of the balcony to capitalize on the views of the adjacent lake Mulwala.
