Since the opening of our Retail Evolution Lab there has been a lot of interest from retailers and brands who have visited the space. Roy Tavenor, Managing Principal of RED DESIGN GROUP, explains in this interview how and why the Lab came about.
“The main aim of the Lab is to create discussion and provoke thoughts on how digital technology can improve the customer shopping experience in stores.
Most stores are an Internet-free zone and customers’s personal mobile devices are the only method of accessing web content when shoppers are in stores.
We predict that retailers will invest in their own in-store digital platforms to complement customer devices and provide a more seamless online/in-store experience for shoppers.”
